Josip Wepka, Nikolai Romanovski and Gorghendi Kahn gathered at Crystal Gardens atop the Schwartz Opera House. A dead ringer for Cesar Georg Nicholai de Rochelle, Nikolai Romanovski was the brother of August Phillippe Romanovski, the first emperor of Rocaterrania.
Since the Romanovski family had long suspected that August Phillippe was poisoned to death by his wife (Empress Catherine de Rochelle) Nikolai Romanovski sought revenge by co-conspiring with Wekpa and Kahn to help fund the revolution that forced the abdication of Catherine’s brother and successor to the monarchy—Cesar Georg Nicholai de Rochelle. Romanovski was later appointed minister of finance when Kahn was elected president.
